A small town at an altitude of 572 m covering an area of 10.6 square kilometres. It has 301 inhabitants and is located in the south of Alava, 44 km from Vitoria-Gasteiz and 27 km from Logroño, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa and at the foot of the Toloño Mountains.
